GAMEPLAY
Snowboard Hero™ is an action-packed fun sports spectacle which brings high-speed racing action, sensational air manoeuvres and break-neck tricks to your Apple smartphone or tablet. In the game, you take over the role of one of six freaky characters with individual boards, clothes, skills and special moves and race down a total of eight windy slopes consisting not only of hillsides and open alpine areas, but also of half pipes, ski jumps and glacier tunnels.

The game’s intuitive controls allow you to perform even the most dare-devil stunts at ease and make for an exciting high-speed ride down the sharpest curves and steepest scarps! Jump over kickers, pass through gates, race as fast as you can or grind whatever obstacle is on your way! Make sure you collect the power-ups to get an extra boost, trick bonus or cash.

Unlock a huge number of stylish jackets and pants to customize your character and invest your earned cash to buy new boards and improve your character’s abilities.

Pros and cons of Snowboard Hero app for iPhone and iPad

Snowboard Hero app good for

hours of fantastic snowboard fun cool tracks, cool maps and moves and a lot of action :)

Great SSX clone based on first impressions. Great graphics, great control, great design, great progression system...all its missing is the tricky song! One gripe is, it seems to be iphone native, which means zoomed in on ipad-as an early adopter, I better not have to buy HD version in a month. Overall, highly recommended!

I have to say, this is the best snowboard game I have ever played!!! It would be cool Id there was a stunt park to practice your stunts with all the characters, and also, there should be more characters, involving an equal number of guys and girls, so one gender isnt dominating!!!!

This game should be updated, with more new tracks and characters. Its simply amazing!

Some bad moments

The graphics are wonderful, as is the sound! The control design and responsiveness could use some fine-tuning, make them more responsive. It IS a lot like SSX3, one of my all time favorite games!!

I bought this game not realizing that it wasnt compatible with my iPod. Please update this to support the 2nd generation iPod!!!

REMINDS ME OF COOL BOARDERS & SSX!!! I have countless hours playing this game and updating my the characters. Although theres one flaw NO MULTIPLAYER?!?!?!?! Until then 4 stars. :(

This game looks good, but the controls are lacking. When it comes to what you can do there are limits, for example swiping left after a jump performs a 360, making a 180 impossible if desired. The controls seem to lag as well, when turning direction there is a slight lag in the response making the controls feel loose.

Its so much more fun than this. The controls just dont feel good to me with this one- somewhat of a cheap feel compared to the awesome "Crazy Snowboard."
